• In 1966. I was admitted into Primary 1 in St Ambrose Catholic Primary School ( Now known as Ogelle Primary school ). Admission No. 3800, was my admission number.
• In 1967, after my primary 2, I moved to St Paul Catholic Primary School, where I finished my Primary 6, in 1971.

In January 1972, I gained admission into Holy Martyrs of Uganda Minor Seminary with the object to become a catholic priest.
In 1975, I lost my vocation to the Catholic priesthood and dropped out of the seminary.
• GENERAL CERTIFICATE OF EDUCATION ( ORDINARY LEVEL ):
In December 1976, I sat the General Certificate of Education Examination at the Ughelli Center 1 ( CANDIDATE NO. 06751287 ) and obtained 1, in History; and 4, in Health Science ( CERTIFICATE NO. P0 062245 ).
INSPIRATION TOWARDS ENTREPRENEURSHIP :
• The inspiration towards entrepreneurship came from my very own parents, both of whom were life long entrepreneurs who may be described as successful by local standards.
My father, Chief Isaiah Ogbeni Okeh Okor, of Ekrusierho Quarters, Ekakpamre ( now of blessed memory ) was a rubber merchant who transacted both locally and internationally.

Also, in the 1970s, he actively exported hundreds of tons of bales of Ribbed Smoked Sheet Rubber ( RSS International Nos 3, 4, and 5 ) to America.
On the international scene, his company, Ogbeni General Exports and Imports Company Limited ( RC No. 9212 ), traded Ribbed Smoked Sheet ( RSS ) Rubber extensively with:
I just needed to be an international trader like my father.
My mother, madam Victoria Oteghe Ogbeni, nee Ebihor Obor-unutare, is another great inspiration to me towards sentrepreneurship. She is also from Ekakpamre ( Ekru-eneghwaeren Quarters ).
In the 1970s she operated her own home based caustic soda soap production business.
Until her retirement from trading, due to age, she ran her own foodstuff trading shop in the Ughelli Foodstuff Market, in Ughelli, in Delta State. All this she combined with farming, church activities and the raising of the eleven of us, her children.
MY WORK EXPERIENCE SO FAR SO GOOD :
1977 - JUNE 1979

Having lost my vocation to catholic priesthood and dropped out of Holy Martyrs of Uganda Minor Seminary, Effurun, in DELTA State, I had to find employment. In 1977, I got my very first full-time work as a tally clerk, in the then Nigerian National Shipping Line Nigerian Ports Authority, Yard, Delta Ports, Koko Beach, Koko, now in Warri-North Local Government Area, of Delta State.
As a tally clerk, I got engaged in the work of tallying general cargoes being imported into the country. The cargoes were being carried by vessels belonging to different shipping lines, to name some:
I also took part in tallying of cartons of frozen fish then being imported by The Nigerian National Fish Company. In 1979, the work load at the Nigerian Ports Authority, in KoKo, dropped as a result of lack of vessels. This work situation forced me to return to my parents in Ughelli, in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State.
JUNE 1979 - JANUARY 1980

Upon my return to Ughelli, I got employment in the then Delta Glass Company Limited ( now known as Beta Glass Limited ). After 6 months of work as casual, I got my confirmation of appointment with effect from 1st January, 1980. I worked as a feeder in Cold End ( Printing Department ) until 3rd December, 1982.
3RD DECEMBER, 1982 - 8TH APRIL, 1985
( TECHNICAL CLERK, ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT, DELTA GLASS ( now BETA GLASS ) COMPANY, UGHELLI )
With effect from 3rd. December, 1982, I was transferred Cold End ( Printing Department ) to the Electrical Department as Technical Clerk.
8TH APRIL, 1985
Finally, on the 8th of April, 1985, I resigned from Delta Glass Company ( now Beta Glass ) to be on my own.
